Sarah Butler Therapies
Hello I’m Sarah of Sarah Butler Therapies, a professional complementary therapy and wellness service for women. I offer treatments to help you relax and recharge, but also to support your health and wellbeing, depending on your requirements. Treatments take place either at my tranquil treatment room at Little Stone, Frithelstockstone (5 miles from Bideford) or in the comfort of your own home, venue or care home.
I love to travel around North Devon, visiting a wide variety of clients and only charge a £15 mobile fee within a 10 mile radius (additional charges apply if further). I also, with my therapist/s colleague/s travel to deliver pamper parties – hen, birthday, anniversary, baby shower or just a get together with the girls! These are extremely popular and fun.
I offer a range of treatments, including:
A bit about me
As a Complementary Therapist I take great pride in the quality of my services and have a calm and friendly manner (I’m told!). I always take care to put you at ease, whatever the treatment/s you are receiving, fully explaining the procedure and ensuring that you are comfortable and relaxed. I use quality products ensuring the maximum benefit for you and your treatment (see Product Information).
I started my business in November 2015. Originally it was called Back to Beauty, but I changed the name to Sarah Butler Therapies in April 2020 to reflect the services I offered. I have spent most of my working life in administration; including 10 years at a local legal practice as a PA and then Practice Manager, and the last 10 years as an Administration Lead with the NHS. Wanting a complete change, I applied for voluntary redundancy and retrained, first as a Beautician, and then Massage Therapist. Training in Complementary Therapies (my passion) and latterly, a relatively new therapy, ScarWork, extended my knowledge further. I absolutely love the industry and am extremely proud of all I offer.
I am fully trained with Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) Levels 2 & 3 and City & Guilds (C&G) Level 3 and am a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT); I am also fully insured with the FHT.
The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) is the UK’s leading professional association for complementary, beauty and sports therapists. For more than 50 years, the FHT been instrumental in ensuring high standards in therapy education and practice.
As well as supporting members with a range of services and benefits, including tailor-made insurance and International Therapist magazine, the FHT holds the largest Accredited Register of complementary therapists to have been independently approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
The Accredited Registers programme aims to protect the public by helping people to choose a non-statutory regulated health professional with confidence. Overseen by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body accountable to Parliament, it is the only initiative covering complementary therapy that is currently backed by Government.
Being listed on an Accredited Register demonstrates that you are committed to high standards of practice.
